Acceptable Use Policy: Our Fair Play Guide! 🚀
Hey there! This quick guide is all about the friendly ground rules when you use anything we build or run—like apps, websites, and APIs. We made this to keep everything safe, super fast, and running smoothly for you and everyone else!
We kept it short, sweet, and full of common sense! It's part of our main Terms, and it applies to you whether you're a direct customer or just having fun using something we built.
1. What this covers
These rules apply to all the amazing tech and systems Linkysoft runs! That includes our apps, the servers hosting your projects, our APIs, and even our own website. By jumping in and using them, you're agreeing to play nice and follow the easy rules below!
2. Who it applies to
These guidelines apply to absolutely everyone using our tools: our fantastic clients, their teams, and the end users having fun on a system we manage. If you're our client, we just ask that you help make sure your users follow these friendly rules too!
3. The basic principle
Just use our systems for what they were built to do, follow the rules of the law, and please don't do anything that hurts others or the tech itself. It's really that easy! Almost everything else down below just builds on this one big, simple idea.
4. What you must not do
To keep things awesome for everyone, you agree NOT to use any system we provide to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else do it!
- Host, send, or share anything that's illegal, mean, or that you don't actually have the rights to.
- Spread sneaky viruses, malware, or any nasty code meant to break things or sneak around.
- Send annoying spam, bulk junk messages, or run phishing scams.
- Step on anyone's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
- Try to sneak into accounts, data, or networks without permission—even if you normally have access!
- Mess with or overload our systems—like doing denial-of-service attacks, crazy data scraping, or hogging resources so no one else can play.
- Pretend to be someone else, or use our tools to trick or scam people.
5. Security and safety
Please don't poke, scan, or test our security without our written "okay"! We totally love responsible bug hunting, but let's agree on the rules first. Don't bypass our locks, and keep your login details safe. If you find a security hole, be a superhero and tell us instead of exploiting it!
6. Your content and users
You are completely in charge of the content you bring into our systems, and how your users act! We don't proactively snoop on your data, and we aren't responsible for it—but we will step in to help if something gets reported or violates these rules.
7. How we enforce this
If a rule gets broken, our first step is usually just to reach out and ask you to fix it! But for big emergencies—like an active attack, illegal stuff, or a serious threat to our users—we might step in first to protect everyone and explain it later. We always want to be fair and friendly!
8. Reporting bad behavior
If you spot something on our systems that breaks these rules, please let us know right away at [email protected] or through our contact page! Just give us enough clues to find the issue, and we'll jump on it super fast.
9. Changes and contact
We might update these rules as we grow, and the "Last updated" date will tell you when we made tweaks! We always love hearing from you, so if you have questions, reach out at [email protected] or drop us a line on our contact page.
