1. When this applies

This agreement jumps into action anytime Linkysoft handles personal info for you during a project—like when your new app stores info about your customers! It goes right along with your main contract and our friendly Terms of Service.

2. Who does what?

You are the controller: you get to pick what personal info is collected and how it's used. We are the processor: we safely handle that info to make your system run brilliantly, following your exact instructions! We both promise to follow the privacy laws that apply to us.

3. We only follow your lead

We only handle your users' info to give you the awesome services we agreed on, and we stick exactly to your instructions! We will absolutely never use your data for our own stuff, and we will never, ever sell it. If we think a rule might break privacy laws, we will tell you right away instead of just doing it.

4. Our big promises to you

For all the personal info we handle for you, we enthusiastically promise to:

• Keep it completely top-secret, and make sure our awesome team does the same!
• Use incredible security—like strong locks and encryption—to keep everything super safe!
• Only let our team members access the data if they truly need it to do great work for you.
• Help you keep the info accurate and help you out when users ask about their data.
• Only use outside helpers if we follow the super strict rules in section 5!

5. Our trusted helpers

To make your project amazing, we use a few highly trusted outside tools, called "sub-processors." You give us a high-five to use them, but only on the condition that we make them follow rules just as strict as this agreement! And don't worry, we always take full responsibility for them.

We will always tell you which helpers we are using. If we ever want to add a new one, we will give you a friendly heads-up so you can tell us if you have any worries. If you do, and we can't fix it together, you are totally free to cancel that part!

6. Moving data around the world

We are a fantastic global team, so sometimes data gets handled in another country! Whenever we move personal info across borders, we use amazing safety measures—like special contracts—to guarantee it stays totally protected!

7. Helping you shine

Being in charge of data is a big deal, and we are thrilled to help you out! We will happily assist when your users want to see or delete their info. We can also help with safety checks. If one of your users accidentally asks us about their info, we will kindly point them right back to you!

8. If something goes wrong

If we ever spot a security issue with the data we handle for you, we will tell you super fast! We will give you all the details—what happened and how we are fixing it. We will also jump right into action to stop the problem and keep everyone safe!

9. Keeping records and checking in

We keep wonderful records of our work, and we are happy to share them to prove we are keeping our promises! If you need to check our work, we will gladly cooperate. We just ask for a friendly heads-up, respect for our other clients, and for you to cover the cost unless we actually messed up!

10. Giving it all back

When our amazing time working together ends, we will happily give back all your info or securely delete it—you decide! We will also wipe our copies, unless the law says we have to keep something. We will never hold your info hostage; we guarantee a super clean and friendly handover!

11. Which rules win and how to say hi

If anything here conflicts with our other agreements about data, this document wins! We might update this page for new laws, but if it's a big change, we will definitely let you know.
