Technical SEO is the part of search work that has nothing to do with your words. It asks four plain questions about your site. Can Google reach the page. Does the page load quickly. Does it work properly on a phone. And is the connection private, so the browser does not warn people away before they read a line.
Think of a shop on a side street. You can paint the best sign in the city. If the door sticks, the lights are off and the road is dug up, nobody buys anything. Technical SEO is the door, the lights and the road. The writing is only the sign.
Speed is the part owners feel first. A page that takes six seconds loses most of the people who tapped it, and they were the ones ready to buy. The usual culprit is a photo. A picture straight off a phone camera can weigh four megabytes, and one of those is heavier than everything else on the page put together. Phones matter just as much. A button too small to tap, or a menu that only opens with a mouse, sends people back to the search results. Shrinking images and testing on a real handset is normal work on any website we design and build.
The padlock in the address bar matters too. HTTPS means the messages between a visitor and your site are scrambled, so nobody in the middle can read a password or a card number. An expired certificate turns that padlock into a full-page red warning, and traffic falls the same day. Renewal dates are worth a calendar entry, and keeping logins and payments safe belongs with a proper security review.
Words alone cannot fix a broken site. Linkysoft is asked every month to rewrite pages for a shop that is really losing sales to a slow server and a checkout that fails on older phones. New text changes nothing there. The honest order is to repair the machine first, then write. Most of that repair sits inside the code, which is why it usually lands with the team that builds web applications rather than the one writing copy. Before you pay anyone, ask for the page speed on a mid-range Android phone over mobile data, not on the office wifi. Linkysoft measures it that way because that is how customers actually arrive.
